Sanskruti Samvardhan Pratishthan (SSP) has dedicated itself for inculcating values based on Bhartiya Culture amongst the students for their all-round development and progress. SSP is a non-profit voluntary organization which has started in 2003 with the need to develop an alternative system and mechanism to provide and spread the moral education through schools.
Through its various innovative activities and programs like Collective Shlokas Recitation and Value Education Projects, SSP inculcate the moral and cultural values. Various stories from the Ramayana and The Mahabharata are used to make children aware of our heroes and thus gain some learning from their inspirational life. We believe, these activities help to make child more ethical and socially responsible individual. The sole objective of SSP is enabling children to inculcate good habits, to breed their familiarity with the great patriotic leaders of the yester years and to make them ideal citizens when they grow. We conduct these activities in four languages namely, English, Hindi, Marathi, & Gujarati.
All through these years, the spread of this program has been showing astounding and consistent developments every year. This fact is not only highly encouraging, but also it emphasizes the felt need of such an effort in today’s scenario of global insecurity and unduly excessive importance to materialistic values. This program is being implemented not only in the private schools, but also in schools run by Municipal Corporation.
Till date, SSP has been conducting its programme in approximately 500 schools in the 36 divisions of Mumbai and Maharashtra. Every year minimum one lakh students get benefit of the moral education program conducted by SSP.
The sole objective of SSP is enabling children to inculcate good habits, to breed their familiarity with the great patriotic leaders of the yester years and to make them ideal citizens when they grow. To achieve this objective we are developing an alternative education system and mechanism along with the core education to create awareness, impart and enhance the moral education and Indian values through the schools (Private & State run schools) and create responsible citizens for our nation. Through various innovative activities and programs SSP inculcate the moral and cultural values among children. Our flagship program is Value Education Program.

Mr. Siddarth Suresh Bharwani spearheads the marketing and brand communication initiatives at SSP. A complete marketing buff, he has been instrumental in the development of the new brand identity change to make it a brand of the future.
He completed his studies from Bond University, Australia and has 6 years of experience in the field of Marketing. Siddarth is an avid reader with a spiritual bend; he exudes superior people management and analytical skills.
Mr. Mohan Salekar is a firm believer and practitioner of “values”, the quality which he had inherited from his mother.

He completed CAIIB and thereafter pursued a successful career in Banking. He joined many small organizations to pursue his passion for “social work”, where he came across the need to introduce and inculcate the values in the younger generations. Life becomes meaningful if we have values in our life" that is what Mohan ji believes. A person with values can contribute in much better way to the society, thus assist positively in building the character of the nation. - Thinking on these thought Mohan ji founded SSP along with few like minded people. Despite many ups and downs the organization is and will continue working for its objectives of Value education amongst children.

Ms. Shabdagandha is a passionate writer and a development professional. She has a strong background in Advocacy Initiatives and Media Relations. For over a decade she has been associated with journalism and has worked with media houses like Times Group and Indian Express group. She is associated with development sector from past seven years. Prior to SSP, she was working with Pratham.
She has a post graduate diploma in communications from Xavier institute of Communications and Master degree in social work. She is presently pursuing MBA (social entrepreneurship) from NMIMS University. Outside of work, she loves reading and travelling.

She did her graduation from Ruia College after which she went on to complete her post gradation with English as major and Marathi as subsidiary. Then she served as an officer in Bank of Baroda for 25 years. But the influence of social sector made her take a VRS in 2001 to serve the society. Apart from SSP she is associated with several trusts.

Vimal hails from Burma, Rangoon and after completing his SSC, came to Mumbai to pursue his degree of Bachelor of Engineering. He is in the business of manufacturing and packaging of corrugated boxes for 40 years.
He is working with SSP from last 5 years. According to him SSP’s most valuable contribution is providing value education to children. He believes imbibing value education to children early in their life has become a necessity. Good values help to achieve success in life whereas bad values can destroy a person. Through his support, SSP has distributed almost 50,000 books. He has been in social service sector for 45 years now and is associated with around 12 organizations from his childhood.
Mr. Indrajeet is from Sonepat, Haryana and after completing his graduation, got a diploma in Pharma sector.

Positive thinking developed by reading the stories of Indian heroes who have sacrificed their lives for the nation will arouse patriotism in children. This also drives away negatives thoughts from their lives.
